1 Million Mad Blogging!

Author: Robert | Filed under The March

It’s time to step it up a notch! The year is almost ending and the response is somewhat dragging, but the fight is still as important as ever. 1 Million Mad is taking the revolution to the blogosphere, and doing what we can to get the masses motivated and marching come March 15th, 2009!

For those who don’t know what we are proposing here, let me fill you in. Previously on 1 Million Mad…

The Angry Hippie, and a Voice of Dissent were doing our part to inform the public about the mass amounts of political and societal bullshit that seemed to be weighing us this country down. About the government selling out the people’s voice in our political system. Replacing it with the corporate voice that has greedily corrupted the systems meant to protect us. Then I was contacted by Jon, a listener of the podcast, and he brought up the idea of a march. We thought the idea had more than merit, it had heart. It had purpose. It had relevance. And 1 Million Mad began.

We have called for 1 Million Mad marching peacefully together in every state capital in the United States, and in D.C.. Marching for campaign finance reform, for banning lobbyist influence in our government, for the restoration of our freedom, our voice. In short, to take our country back from the special interests that have paid their way into political favor and have paid for legislation that has undermined and undercut the masses. Many have rallied to our call and are doing what they can to organize and spread the word in their communities. We urge all of you to do the same.

It’s time Washington heard our voices once again!
